Screen Story Consultation
We consult Screen Story Development and Structure in conjunction with Cinematic Expression.
Once we have an idea of a Story we need to conceive of a Plot - a series of circumstances that are presented in the
form of Scenes. In order for the story to progress, the Scenes need to happen not only in chronological order but also
they need to reveal new information in a way that compels the viewer to wanting to know of what is next. Character or
relationship buildup is effective when it relates to Reactions - what the Character sees, hears and does rather then
trying to convey it through words of Dialogue. A masterfully written dialogue conveys message through the meaning of
what's between the lines" rather than through outcome of straightforward dialogue.
